Playing games while hungry
Wellp, I’ve got a few hours until I have to head out to Square One to pick up my Secret Santa gift, so I’ll post some stuff since I haven’t done so for a while.
For ENG239, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was on the reading list. One of the best reads EVER. I finished during the term and this week, I moved on to the rest of the trilogy. Can’t put it down! Amazing books.
The movie for the first book is coming out in March, which will be something to look forward to.
On a dumber note: if you combine Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, you get Peeniss Everlark. LOL.

Oh, this is the first opportunity I have to do this so I’ll do it as awkwardly as I can:
SPOILER ALERT. DANGER. SPOILER ALERT. DANGER. DANGER. WARNING. WARNING. SPOILER ALERT.
DO NOT READ ON IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY.
Warning over!
Anyway, I can’t believe she ended up with Peeta. The ending with regards to her choosing Gale vs Peeta was a bit anti-climactic. I mean, it’s realistic and not cliché that Gale just ends up leaving off somewhere, but I wish they discussed Prim’s death (possibly as a result of Gale’s plans with Beetee) and somehow magically end up f*cking LOL. But Peeta seems nice, so I guess it works out.
Bottom line: amazing books. Super violent. Super emotionally conflicting.
